1.1.1. Case 1: KoL Le Bong
Le Bong, whose real name is Le Xuan Anh, was born in 1995 and is a content creator with influence among the youth. Currently, besides being a KOL

Trang 4
(Key Opinion Leader), Le Bong also trying her hand in various fields like hosting TV shows, participating in beauty contests, etc.
However, there was a time when the mention of Le Bong would remind many people of the bad impressions due to her involvement in numerous scandals. From her gestures and actions to her statements, Le Bong received mixed opinions from the online community. Le Bong once failed to distinguish the line between being provocative and sexy, and was involved in controversies over "inappropriate dressing."
In the years 2021 and 2022, Le Bong was fond of colored hair, and avant-garde fashion, and was very sexy. She often engaged in provocative dances or took overly revealing photos on social media... Overall, Le Bong's outfits were not too revealing, somewhat personal, and sexy. However, as a person of influence on social media, the way Le Bong conveyed herself left a bad impression on viewers. Initially, when facing mixed reactions from the online community, Le Bong did not realize she had built her image in the wrong way. She just wondered why others could do it but she was criticized. Gradually, she realized that this also related to the environment and culture where she lived.
During her school years, Le Bong had a personal style, lived for herself, didn't care what others thought, and never apologized. This led to her being isolated and boycotted by her peers. However, this was also a profound lesson that helped Le Bong mature, teaching her to always apologize, say thank you, and behave more appropriately in life.
In November 2020, Le Bong was invited to participate in the show "Quick as Lightning" dressed in a cosplay outfit of the famous Pokemon character. Upon airing, she was immediately criticized for inappropriate dressing and not fitting the show. Many believed she and her team were not influential enough to participate in a show meant for artists. Moreover, Le Bong was also known by the nickname "Tongue-sticking-out Hot Girl".
Le Bong had a peculiar habit in her videos of sticking out her tongue indiscriminately. She did this so frequently in almost all her TikTok clips that many users outright blocked her for showing her tongue too much. This action was not supported by many viewers. Le Bong was mocked, ridiculed, and even boycotted by many. But Le Bong did not realize that this was an action that left a bad impression, so when faced with anti-tongue-sticking trends, she unflinchingly posted a dizzying tongue-twirling video to tease the online community. Of course, this action of Le

Numerous comments were criticizing her for "not knowing fear" and liking challenges, the more she was criticized, the more she persisted. Moreover, Le Bong showing her tongue piercing also faced backlash and dissatisfaction. The actions of Le Bong not only left a bad impression on her image on social media, causing people to boycott and dislike her but also affected her family and career.
In early 2021, with the help of seniors at VTV Broadcasting, Le Bong had the opportunity to appear on the program "Harmony Song." This was also the first time Le Bong took on the role of MC in a major show, broadcast on the night of the 30th of the Lunar New Year. However, close to the broadcast date, Le Bong suddenly received a notice from the program team that she would not appear on the show due to negative, inappropriate, sexy, and flamboyant images from her past. Perhaps, after this unhappy story, Le Bong deeply regretted, seriously re-evaluated herself, and made efforts to change in a positive direction.
Currently, Le Bong no longer causes controversy on social media about her dress or expressions but has become calmer and more mature. For about a year now, Le Bong has been focusing on building her image with elegance and sophistication. Besides, she also devotes a lot of effort to working as an MC or running programs at the television station and other personal jobs. Changing oneself is difficult, yet she has made every effort to change people's impressions of her, thereby increasingly changing positively in the eyes of the audience. From the way she dresses, her personality, and her words, all have become more mature and steady than before. The new image of Le Bong has received many praises and positive comments from the online community. Moreover, she has also regained the peace of mind and pride from her family and friends about herself.
1.1.2. Case 2: Miss Nam Em
If Le Bong was influenced by bad images in the past, Nam Em completely broke her previous good image with her recent actions and statements. Nam Em was born on 15th January 1996 in Tien Giang province. She is a model, actress, and singer who became famous after being crowned "Miss Mekong Delta" in 2015 when she was 19 years old, at the same time, she was the representative of Vietnam among the eight outstanding contestants at Miss Earth 2016. She is a student in the Intermediate Vocal Music class at the Military University of Culture and Arts, which only opens once every 7 years. According to the military standard of this university, there are only 15 places in the whole country, and in the entire southern

However, after a series of love scandals and relationships with managers since the end of 2018, Nam Em's career has plummeted. She has huge debts, violates music copyrights, and has false statements, negative information make confuse the public. From the above actions, in March 2024, the Department of Information and Communications decided to sanction Nam Em for administrative violations with a fine of 37.5 million VND. In addition, she was also stripped of her companionship rights by the organizers of the Miss Mekong Delta 2024 contest. Nam Em often appears tired and shows many signs of psychological instability. Now, the audience is only more impressed with Nam Em’s scandals than her talent.
1.2. Definition of a good impression
Impressions are images of communication objects that are formed in each other's awareness at many meetings and contacts. Those are our assessments and comments about the opponent based on many aspects so impressions can be both positive and negative.
Besides they say the first impression is the last. Most of us form initial opinions about people fairly quickly. In subsequent meetings, your first impression will only get cemented. Most people don't change their opinions easily. Thus it is very difficult to completely change a person’s initial perception about you. Moreover, first impressions are lasting impressions. If you hit that first note perfectly then you will have plenty of time to consolidate your position. On the other hand, if the first impression you make is a poor one, you are unlikely to get another shot.
A good impression is a favorable opinion or perception that someone forms about another person, thing, or situation upon contact or interaction. It encompasses various factors such as demeanor, behavior, appearance, communication style, and overall presentation. Making a good impression often involves being polite, respectful, confident, and attentive to others' needs and expectations. It's about leaving a positive and memorable impact that can lead to trust, respect, and further opportunities for connection or collaboration. These short moments have a significant impact on the trajectory of our personal relationships and professional contacts. They capture our first thoughts about someone's personality, dependability, and attractiveness. While they may appear insignificant, first

Emotional component: includes vibrations that arise during the meeting such
as sympathy or antipathy, satisfaction, comfort or dissatisfaction, and discomfort. The emotional component greatly affects the durability of the first impression.
1.3. The role of good impression
A good impression is important because it will last well beyond the first time you meet someone. And while it may be comforting to know a person’s opinion of you can change over time, you should never rely on a second interaction that may never come.
Making a good impression from the start triggers the warmth of achievement and confidence! Having etiquette skills will help you nail your interactions with others. That way, you can feel that warmth and confidence wherever you go. All people are hard-wired to cast judgment on others—it is human nature! Your appearance, the way you walk into a room, the tone of your voice, and what you say to others all make a difference in how they feel about you.
A good impression has great significance in communication. If we make a good impression on others right during contact, it means they have feelings for us, and they even want to meet us next time. That is a favorable condition for us to build and develop good and long-term relationships with them. On the contrary, if in the first meeting, we make mistakes and leave a bad impression, we will often have difficulty in subsequent meetings and it will take unnecessary effort to erase them. that impression. It is no coincidence that in business, people compare the first impression to the capital contribution of businessmen. To make a good impression, we must always begin communication with a friendly smile. Of course, when you smile, your eyes must also be happy. Don't smile like a robot. Do not wear sunglasses when receiving guests. Eyes are the windows of the hidden soul, creating a false and shady impression when communicating. In addition, wearing sunglasses

Even if they are tinted glasses, you should not wear them. If you are not a bodyguard or person in charge of security for the Company, do not wear sunglasses when receiving guests.
1.4. The elements create a good impression
The process of forming a good impression is complex, and influenced by many factors. Here are some basic factors:
Elements of the communication object
The first impression is the image of the communication object, so it first depends on the characteristics of the communication object, especially external characteristics such as hair, dress, eyes, and facial expressions. , smile, posture, gestures, posture, speech... For example, during the first meeting, British people pay special attention to many parts from the neck up (collar, tie, hair, face). what is the person's nose like), the first words the person says (what are the words, is there a word sorry or thank you, is the pronunciation correct?), first steps (long or slow steps, fast or slow, walking position, carrying bag in left or right hand).
For example: In a job interview, appearance is the first factor for employers. Before participating in the interview, job applicants must choose factors such as:
Regarding clothing: choose clothes that are neat, polite, appropriate to the situation, comfortable, and help you feel more confident, do not wear clothes with dark tones such as brown, black, or gray.
Regarding personal hygiene: Make sure everything is clean, especially your hair and nails. If your hair or beard is too long, you should shave, cut your hair, and tidy it up.
Prioritizing appearance and clothing also makes a significant impression on the assessment of your professionalism and is also a requirement to decide to hire you. Appearance and attire also assess your respect for employers and companies.
The elements are in us
The image of the communication object that forms in our minds depends not only on that object but also on our characteristics, the most important of which are mood and emotions:
When we are in a comfortable, happy mood, the scenery as well as the people around us seem more beautiful, more likable, friendlier, and closer. On the contrary, when we are sad, stressed, or irritable, even beautiful and bustling scenes

Trang 9
become gloomy, and no matter how good or kind people are, it is not easy to make a good impression on us.
Communication situations and circumstances
Situations and communication circumstances also affect our impressions of others. For example, your colleague looks amazing in a sparkling gown at the company's 25th anniversary celebration! But if that same colleague was at a community service event and still wearing that sparkly dress, you would probably have to shake your head in disgust. In addition to the factors mentioned above, several effects govern the process of forming the first impression, for example, the novelty effect, and the halo effect...
2.1. Preparedness
2.1.1. Research the Situation
To prepare effectively and make a good impression, thorough preparedness is essential. Start by researching the situation, and understanding both the environment and the people involved. Knowing the context and background allows for a more informed and tailored approach to interactions. Trying to remember information about partners and find a connection or common ground. It can be as simple as going to the same university, having similar interests, or having recently read the same book.
The goal is to create a real-life connection between people. The point is, to mention if you have the common point, because if they find out you're "fake", it's no different than a lie to your opponent.
2.1.2. Be Ready to Discuss Relevant Topics
Before meeting someone for the first time, prepare yourself with knowledge. The goal is that during the first meeting, you show that you can understand what the other person is trying to say.
To ensure effectiveness, you should prepare 2 or 3 key issues you want to cover. Their order may depend on the situation, but in general, they should demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of the field in question. Ideally, you mention them "naturally" but proactively.
2.2. Communication skills
How to start a conversation? The simplest way is to say hello. Be proactive in introducing your name then smile and shake your partner's hand. Trying to
7

Trang 10
remember your partner's name and using it often in the conversation is the way to create a good first impression.
Start by talking about issues of concern
To begin a conversation or discussion by addressing topics that interest both people. This phrase encourages participants to identify and articulate key issues about the topics that deserve their attention. By starting with such discussions, you are more likely to attract others’ attention among the crowd.
Use humor
Humor is something great that helps you attract others, but of course, it must be clever and polite. A humorous statement can make your partners feel more comfortable. However, you should not always joke. Always joking makes you lose the necessary seriousness and others may feel awkward and annoyed. Therefore, before making a joke, you should think carefully about all the consequences it can bring.
For example, on a first date, it's not only the outfit that affects the first impression of the partner but being humorous, witty, and intelligent in the way you talk or tell stories is also a great factor that attracts him/her.
Speak clearly
There's nothing more frustrating or annoying than having to communicate with someone whom we can't understand what they're saying. If you speak too softly, the other person will always have to ask you to repeat. If you speak too loudly, it is, of course, impolite to your listeners. In short, speaking clearly and moderately is not too difficult, you just need to keep calm and adjust the volume when speaking.
Know how to listen
When talking to someone, be sure to let him know that you listen to him. You should nod your head to show harmony and agreement with your partner. In psychology, people call this empathy, expressed through the sentences "I understand, I know...". If you don't understand what your partner is saying, try talking to them to make it out. Remember not to interrupt people when they are speaking.- Don’t be “selfish”
A big mistake is that you keep talking about something unnecessary and forcing people to listen. You should give your opponent chances to express
