An internship is a necessary time for students to gain experience while they are
studying at university. Therefore, An Giang University (AGU) tries to help seniors
connect with some companies at which they want to work. I chose to work at Europe
Vietnam Australia International English Center (EVAS Center) for eight weeks.
During the eight weeks working at EVAS, I felt that I was lucky because I
received help, support, and encouragement from all people around me with love. That is
why I would love to express my deep gratitude and appreciation to all the people who
supported me in this report.
First and foremost, I express my gratitude to my lecturers: Mrs. Truong Thi Thanh
Nga, Mrs. Bui Thi Thuy Trang, my instructor - Ms. Do Thi Ngoc Nhi, Faculty of Foreign
Languages (FFL) of AGU. They helped me get in touch with EVAS and remind me the
things I need to do during my internship. They offer invaluable careful guidance.
Secondly, I would like to thank all the masters in the Faculty of Foreign
Languages for giving me much necessary knowledge during four years that allows me to
apply my knowledge and skills in real life to gain more work experience.
Moreover, I would like to sincerely thank Mrs. La Ngoc Huong - the Director of
EVAS Center, and Mrs. Huynh Thi Bich Van - the Vice Director for giving me a chance to
practice here. Besides, I want to thank Ms. Tran Au Quynh Tran - manager at Campus 1 and
Ms. Le Thi Du Em - manager at campus 2 for guiding me and sharing work experiences.
Also, I love to thank all members of the EVAS Center for all their enthusiastic guidance and
support to me for eight weeks. I can confidently say I would not have grown and learned as
much as I have these past eight weeks without their mentorship.

Finally, I am sincerely thanking my family for believing and loving me.
I have learned, improved, and grown in wisdom after working time there as a
trainee.
I appreciate it!

ABSTRACT

An internship is a significant part of the curriculum because this is a string that
shortens the distance between the theories provided and the application in reality. If
students thus study theories without practice, they will have trouble while adapting to the

world. However, when students spend a short time working while studying academic
subjects, they have a chance to apply the knowledge from the classroom to real-work
experience. They can promote professional skills and provide opportunities to get
acquainted with their possible future workplaces.
Thus, AGU lecturers organize eight weeks for each student working in flexible and
professional areas. And through eight weeks of working at the EVAS center, I gained more
experiences and learned more new skills useful for me. And now, I would like to show some
of them in this report as a reference to save. In this report, I used several methods, including
observing, recording by internship diary, and searching on the internet.

In my internship report, I divide this into three parts: the first one is the description
of EVAS centers: their location, history, and activities. Secondly, I share my internship
activities like my missions in EVAS, my experiences, and the problems I had. Finally,
these are some recommendations for the internship.

The CAMBRIDGE program is another notable success in the English training of
EVAS. These courses help thousands of students conquer the Cambridge Starters – Movers

PART II: INTERNSHIP ACTIVITIES:
Here are some activities that I have been trained in, and what I have learned and improved
at EVAS center.
I. Activities at EVAS:

1. Consulting:
At the EVAS center, I had a chance to be a consultant and was trained by my
instructors (Ms. Tran and Ms. Du). Here is the registration process that I need to follow.
After greeting every student who comes to the EVAS center, I will give them a quick test,
but I need to ask them about their English target first. Then, students must register to be
tested the level of English proficiency before going to class. A consultant will test students
by asking simple to complex questions to know where they are. Students registering for
KET, PET, IELTS, and TOEIC must also take a written test on reading and writing besides
the oral exam. Through these tests, the consultant will ask students what time they can take a
class during the week, and therefore the consultant can find a suitable class and exchange
information about details of the program and the price of this course.
