After studying for two weeks at English for Today
Centre, you notice that everything is worse than what
the advertisement says. A friend of yours wants to
know about the centre and you tell him/ her the facts.
Task 1
Fill in the blanks
A. Only some of them. Mine is not.
B. I'm not happy with it at all.
C. Not all of them are native teachers.
D. in fact, classes often start late and finish early.
E. That’s not true. My class has 30 students.
F. I have to pay for them.
A: Are you happy with your study at English for Today Centre?

Useful suggestion
+ Firstly/ First of all , you say that……. but …..
+ Secondly, You say that…but…
+ Furthermore/ Moreover, in the advertisement you say... but …..
+ In addition, to make the matter worse,…..
+ Finally, what I don’t like most is…., The …. is not the same as
what the advertisement says, … not only …. but also…
Example:
First of all, you say that there are only native
teachers but my class has 2 Vietnamese teachers.
While- writing Task 2. Using the information from the
