2. Conjunction ( Liên từ)
Liên từ (hay còn gọi là từ nối) dùng để kết hợp các từ, cụm từ, mệnh đề hoặc câu với nhau. Các
liên từ thường gặp như: And (và), or (hoặc), but (nhưng) ,because (bởi vì), although (mặc dù), so
(vì vậy,nên)
3.Imperatives (Câu mệnh lệnh)
(+) Positive: V
E.g: Stop smoking !
(-) Negative : Don’t + V !
E.g: Don’t talk in class !
4.The possessive adjectives / pronouns (tính từ sở hữu/ đại từ sở hữu)
My-Mine , Your-Yours , Our –Ours , Their –Theirs , His –His , Her – Hers , Its – Its
 Tính từ sở hữu thể hiện tính chất sở hữu của người hoặc vật với danh từ đi sau nó. Tính từ sở
hữu tùy thuộc chủ sở hữu.
Các tính từ sở hữu ln đi trước danh từ mà nó sở hữu và các danh từ này khơng có mạo từ đi
theo.
E.g:  - my mother 
- his work 
 Đại từ sở hữu là những đại từ để chỉ sự sở hữu và được sử dụng thường xuyên nhằm tránh sự
lặp từ ỏ những câu phía trước.
E.g: Her house is wide. Mine is narrow.
Người ta dùng đại từ sở hữu để tránh khơng phải nhắc lại tính từ sở hữu + danh từ đã đề cập trước đó.

b. Usage.
Thì quá khứ đơn dùng để diễn tả hành động hoặc sự việc đã xảy ra và kết thúc trong quá khứ.

Các trạng từ chỉ thời gian thường gặp trong thì quá khứ đơn:
- Yesterday: hôm qua
- Last + time (last week/month/year/night…)
- KTG + ago (2 days ago,…)
- in + năm quá khứ (in 2000,…)
