1. Jeremiah may have been as much as twenty
years older than Ezekiel. Ezekiel and daniel
were about the same age. Concerning Ezekiel’s
familiarity with Jeremiah’s message, it has been
said that Ezekiel was “the prolongation of the
voice of Jeremiah.” the two prophets were
brought into juxtaposition, especially in
connection with Jeremiah’s letter to the exiles,
to whom Ezekiel was ministering. (Read Jer 29.)
