Goals of Treatment
The goals of treatment include hydration, supportive care, and managing
the consequences of microvascular endothelial cell injury in affected


organs. Fluid balance, electrolyte abnormalities, and severe anemia may
necessitate medical management and possible RRT. Pancreatic and hepatic
