MorphologicallyRightVentricle
Themuscularwallsoftherightventricleextendfromthediscrete
atrioventricularjunctiontotheirunionwiththefibroelasticwallsofthe
pulmonarytrunkattheanatomicventriculoarterialjunction.Thecavitythus
demarcatedhasthreecomponents:theinlet,theapicaltrabecularpart,andthe
outlet(Fig.2.14).

Theinletcomponentsurroundstheleafletsofthetricuspidvalve,extendingto
theattachmentsofthevalvartensionapparatus.Thethreeleafletsofthevalve
takeoriginfromtheseptal,inferiorormural,andanterosuperiormarginsofthe
atrioventricularjunction(Fig.2.15).
