Direct Laryngoscopes
There are two components to traditional direct laryngoscopes, the handle and the
blade. Smaller diameter handles tend to be favored with smaller blades, though
selection is ultimately based on clinician preference. Laryngoscope blades are
either curved or straight. The choice is based on the experience and preference of
