see, hear, smell, taste, feel, remember,
understand, chỉ dùng can/ could

smell”).
1. S + should (not)/ought (not) to + have + PPII (đáng lẽ đã phải/ nên): Chỉ một
việc nên/ không nên làm ở quá khứ.
2. S + must have + PPII (chắc hắn là đã): Chỉ suy luận logic dựa trên sự việc xảy ra
ở quá khứ ở dạng câu khẳng định.
3. S + can’t/couldn’t + have + PPII (không thể đã): Dùng để chỉ một sự việc chắc
chắn không thể xảy ra ở quá khứ.
4. S + could/ may/ might + have + PPII/been + V-ing (có thể là đã): Chỉ một sự việc
có thể xảy ra ở quá khứ.
5. S + needn’t have + PPII (đã không cần phải): Diễn tả một hành động khơng cần
xảy ra ở q khứ
