In the context of globalization, technology always plays an important role in
improving labor productivity, production efficiency and makes a great contribution in serving
the fields. Therefore, technology has had a significant influence, especially in developing
countries like Vietnam. Currently, technology is applied to serve and makes a lot of changes
many fields in Vietnam. This essay will discuss the benefits of technology to social fields in
the process of globalization in Vietnam.
Advanced technology has contributed to many areas of development in Vietnam, specifically
in the field of education and transfer of technology.
Firstly, globalization enable Vietnam to import a variety of modern equipment. In the field
of education, modern equipment is changing the way traditional. For example, teachers
prepare lessons electronically and use projectors to present their lessons so that the lessons
are more engaging. Besides that, many electrical appliances are also imported from various
countries. Examples of imported electrical appliances that are available Vietnam are
dishwashers and washing machines. In short, globalization has helped Vietnam to import
many technological equipment that is useful for many fields and convenient for people's
lives.
Secondly, globalization to promote investors to invest in Vietnam and transfer technology
chains of the world into specific industries and fields in Vietnam. For instance, in the field of
automobile manufacturing technology, “Truong Hai” Automobile Factory is received the
transfer line of Hyundai group for automobile production. Besides that , many technology
corporations also invest in Vietnam. Typically, in 2008, Samsung group of Korea started
construction of Samsung electronics Vietnam (SEV) mobile phone factory and more than 1
billion smart products are produced in Vietnam such as smartphones, tablets and basic phone
products. In short, globalization has strongly attracted investors and transferred the world's
modern technologies to Vietnam more and more.
In conclusion, through the essay we can see that technology is used in almost all fields.
Globalization has made many industries appear, many new technology fields and many
technology products made from Vietnam were born. Globalization will continue to give many
conditions for Vietnam to catch up with the world's technology in the future.
In conclusion, Vietnam’s technology is much more advanced in the last 10 years because
of globalisation. More modern products are produced in Vietnam and there is also

technological transfer. Globalisation will continue help Vietnam improve its technology
in the future.
