Dear Foden,
It’s been a long time since I wrote to you. I’m sorry about that because I just
moved to Ha noi city and now I have some free time to talk to you. First of all, let
me ask you about your health and your family. How’s the work these time? It’s still
good, right? Now, I tell you about me. When coming to Ha noi city, I met a lot of
new friends and teachers and I learned a lot of good things from them, especially
about business. You are working in London, aren’t you? So I think I have some
useful advices when doing business in UK. You must understand the host-country
culture, it’s very important. In your international organization, your colleagues
might share similar professional knowledge and skills and you can learn from this
but their ways of working, social skills body language and ways of doing business
are likely to be completely different. Therefore, you need to see and behave
appropriately to work most effectively. Beside, your company might provide you
with a meaningful understanding of British business culture and communication
styles and you need to notice this. And last, let tell me about your life. I look
forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes,
Hieu.
