Make meaningful sentences:

Nien isn’t old enough to be in my class.
2. Long/ be/ strong/ enough/ play soccer.
Long is strong enough to play soccer.
Form:
S + be + (not) + adj. + enough + toinf. + …
e.g:

1. Tom is tall. He can play basketball.

2. The weather wasn’t good. We couldn’t go on a picnic.

Form:
S + be + (not) + adj. + enough + (for +O) + toinf…..
S + (not)+ V + enough + Noun + (for + O) + toinf…..

Complete the dialogue. Use (not) adj + enough
Ex: a. Hoa: Can you put the groceries in your bag ?

Exercise: Combine each pair of sentences, using “enough”
1.My sister is old. She can drive a car.
=> 1. My sister is old enough to drive a car.
2. Our team is very good. We win the football match very often.
=> 2. Our team is good enough to win the football match very often.
3. Lan isn’t strong. She can’t swim across the river.
4. The ice is thick. You can walk on it.
=> 3. Lan isn’t strong enough to swim across the river.
=> 4. The ice is thick enough for you to walk on.
5. Susan doesn’t have money. She can’t buy that dictionary.
=> 5. Susan doesn’t have enough money to buy that dictionary.
